The Position
This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an exciting team at Sydney zoo in the role of Cleaning Crew, utilising your skills in an area that you are genuinely passionate about. This role will commence as soon as possible.
The Cleaning Crew are responsible for maintaining all facilities at Sydney Zoo, ensuring that they are ongoingly kept in a clean and orderly condition during operational and non-operational hours.
Skills, Knowledge, and Relevant Experience
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal directions.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake duties in a timely manner.
- Able to work independently and as a part of team.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend and walk during daily routines, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time.
- General knowledge of cleaning products supplies and techniques for cleaning.
- Able to work a 7 day rotating roster.
- Demonstrated ability to follow a schedule, with the added ability to prioritise tasks by level of importance.
- Reliable and punctual with a dedicated professionalism to jobs and duties.
- Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines, excellent time management skills.
