Ankita is the founder of Hygiea. Her vision is to turn every disability into different abilities to improve lives. Ankita is a passionate Paediatric Physiotherapist who is pursuing her Ph D on sensory-motor assessments. Therefore, all treatment sessions are backed up with current evidence-based research.
Our Speech Pathologist Contractor model offers:

• Minimum of $116.39 per hour plus travel extra if applicable

About the role:
Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct assessments
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy for children
• Work as part of a transdisciplinary team and be given opportunities to grow with the organisation

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology;
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia;
• Contractors must have 1 year post graduate experience in the field and/or with paediatric case load;
• Contractors must have an ABN, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance; We can guide you through this.
• Previous experience working with sensory issues in children and young adults living with Autism would be desirable;
• Current driver licence and access to a fully insured vehicle;
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and Provide First Aid Certification;
• A team player with a “can do” attitude.
• Self-sufficient, able to take ownership of the role and high level of organisational and time management skills;
• Clear open and transparent communicator with proven ability to develop rapport with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds;
