We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Conference and Events Organiser to join our vibrant team and contribute to the seamless execution of our high-quality events and gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end planning of conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, and private events, ensuring all details are meticulously managed from initial inquiry to event conclusion.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, providing event consultation, and delivering exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and repeat business.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining the high standards of The Bridge Hotel.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., decorators, caterers, audio-visual providers) to ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
  • On-Site Event Management: Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and guest satisfaction is achieved.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the hotel’s culinary team and other departments to align on event-specific details, menus, and service timelines.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in promoting events through social media, community outreach, and partnerships to enhance bookings and brand awareness.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any last-minute changes or issues with a calm and proactive approach to maintain the event’s success.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as an Events or Conference Organiser, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset for designing engaging event experiences.
  • Budgeting skills and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
