Construction Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-end residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on delivering superior quality, on-time, and within budget.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
Interpreting Architectural Drawings and Specifications
  • Analyse and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide the construction process and ensure adherence to design and engineering standards.
Coordinating Labour Resources and Procurement
  • Organize and manage the procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Efficiently coordinate labour resources to ensure that construction activities are carried out as scheduled and meet project milestones.
Budget and Cost Management
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor services, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Quality Control and Compliance
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues or deviations from the project plan.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and external parties.
Project Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on project outcomes.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions to maintain project momentum.
Arranging Submission of Plans
  • Prepare and manage the submission of project plans to local authorities, ensuring all necessary approvals and permits are obtained.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential and commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience within the industry.
