We currently have opportunities working in Hornsby. This service operates 24x7. You will need to be available for coverage over a variety of morning, afternoon and overnight ‘waking shifts’.

We can consider local candidates to Hornsby.

Your duties will include:

Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
Building positive relationships with our clients
Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
Live locally to the Hornsby a

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

Specialist training opportunities
Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Workers
Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
We invest $5,000 in training in your first year
