Roles & Responsibilities include:

• Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs
• Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
• Assist and support clients to access the community e.g. driving clients to the shops, appointments, coffee, gym, outdoor activities etc
• Assist and support clients within their own home e.g. assisting with household duties, personal and hygiene care, cooking etc.
• Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping
• Medication Management and Administration
• Supporting clients who use personal equipment /aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoists
• Reliable and committed to provide quality care to ensure our clients remain independent

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• You must have the right to live and work in Australia

• Certificate III or IV in individual support, aged care or disability or an Allied Health qualification

• Flexibility to work multiple shifts a day including, early mornings, late nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays

• Current first-aid and CPR certificate
• Valid unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence and your own comprehensive insured vehicle
• Smart phone
• Must have a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Completed NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module (access online: ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/training-course)
• An NDIS Workers Check is required.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and good command of the English language
• Covid-19 Vaccine Digital Certificate or have Medical Contraindication Certificate
