Who you are:
While experience in the trade industry would be useful, more important to us, is your drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in this role.
2 + years estimating experience.
Diploma in Building and Construction, Engineering, Estimating or equivalent.
Knowledge of Australian Building Standards preferred but not essential.
Systems savvy.
Experience using estimating software, Excel and MS Suite.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
About the role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the entire quote process on all jobs, whilst tasked with the administration responsibilities that comes with this role. As the main point of contact you will be customer service driven with strong communication skills.
Estimating for minor home modifications railings, shower solutions, wheelchair ramps, steps, electrical, plumbing.
Utilising your love of fast pace while you complete 40 + quotes each day.
Complete accurate customer costings, variations, and margin checks.
This admin heavy role will see you uploading quote requests, create and update price lists with fixed costs.
Marking up computerised images will be an ease as you are systems savvy
Work closely with clients and ensure they are regularly updated on the progress of their project quote.
Acutely identify problems and implement resolutions.
Continuous improvement minded.
You will be using Aroflo system, training provided.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
