Position Overview:
We are currently seeking semi-skilled Expansion Joint Installers to join our team in Sydney Australia. The ideal candidates will have experience in installing expansion joint systems or similar construction works, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install expansion joint systems according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform measurements to ensure accurate installation.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate installation schedules and requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and company standards.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in installing expansion joint systems preferred, but not necessary.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques related to expansion joint installation. (can be taught if necessary)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
