Join Curtin University’s Operations and Maintenance Team as our new Facility Manager for Curtin Exchange & Tenancies!

Ready to take charge of Curtin’s vibrant and diverse spaces? As our Facility Manager, you’ll oversee the bustling Curtin Exchange, new and existing student accommodations, and a range of retail, commercial, and industrial tenancies. We’re seeking a proactive, results-oriented professional to manage and enhance these key facilities, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional experience for all tenants across our Perth facilities.

What You'll Do:

• Lead maintenance and operational management across Curtin’s diverse tenancies to support effective high-quality student and tenant experience.
• Foster strong relationships with tenants, including Curtin Guild, retail and commercial partners, to ensure efficient, effective service delivery.
• Drive strategic contract management by overseeing contractor performance, budgeting, and compliance with industry standards, especially within high-traffic, student-centred environments.
• Manage tenancy performance for Curtin’s owned spaces and leased properties, with responsibility for high standards in customer satisfaction, maintenance, and operational excellence.

About You:

• Extensive experience and qualifications within asset management, engineering and/or facilities management for large-scale or multi-site facilities.
• Strong experience in managing tenant relationships across both owned and leased properties.
• Proven leadership experience in managing complex operations and large teams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage contracts and budgets effectively.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement and sustainability.

Work Requirements:

• Valid White Card
• WA Class C Driver’s License
• A level of fitness commensurate with the requirements of the position
• Ability to be on call and respond to urgent issues arising outside normal office hours
• Ability to travel to other campuses as required
• Full working rights in Australia
