The Opportunity
A permanent full-time position is available for a Farm Hand. Our Farm Hands work closely with our agronomist and management. The farm team are responsible for the production of the quality crops and forage including corn, cereal and lucerne crops, these are harvested for silage to be fed to our livestock.
We farm sustainably by returning nutrients to the land, by minimizing waste and using water efficiently through modern irrigation systems. We apply compost and recycle nutrients to our land. Our cropping rotations are designed to build soil health and structure, so our land remains fertile and productive.
This opportunity provides secure, long-term employment in a safety-driven environment. This position is for a highly motivated, reliable person, who has an eye for detail and is committed to work health and safety. You will be encouraged and supported to complete National Competency Accreditation in loader and skid steer and other training including forklift as required.

• Operating machinery such as: Deutz, John Deere, Fendt tractors
• Working to scheduling guidelines
• Operating machinery safely
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• A motivated and positive work ethic with good time management skills
Good communication skills with a strong team spirit and a commitment to attendance and punctuality

The successful applicant will possess:

• The ability to follow protocols and adhere to safety standards
• Farm machinery experience
• A genuine interest in farming operations and the passion to learn
• Q Fever immunity, or must be willing to gain the Q Fever vaccination
• Covid Vaccinated
Driver's licence and own transport
