Looking for an experienced Substation Technician preferably with relevant electrical licenses in Australia. You are required to mainly perform pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely.
• Supports customer remotely and onsite, and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
• Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
• Supports in generating sales leads for pre-defined service offers and contributes to planning activities.
• Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
• Perform Installation works of High Voltage (66k V and greater) Apparatus (Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Transformers, GIS)
• Perform Maintenance works on range of electrical apparatus (LV, MV and HV)
• Perform Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Control and Protection works on MV and HV Apparatus
• Perform Standard Documentation Tasks (Generation of Safe Work Method Statements, Site Reports, Standard Siemens Protocols, Modification of Electrical Schematics)

What You Bring

• Full Electrical Licence (State based)
• Experience working in substations and with Installation, Pre-Commissioning and Maintenance of MV and HV Apparatus
• Drivers Licence
• EWP High Licence
• Safe work at heights
• CPR and first Aid
• Ability to Travel for work to remote locations (domestic and international) for periods of time as per the requirements of the business
• Full working rights in Australia.
