Balmain Bowling Club is part of the St Johns Park Bowling Club Group situated in Inner West Sydney suburb of Balmain. We are currently in search of a dedicated Full time Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example, fostering teamwork and proactively ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires availability for work on Thursday to Sunday and occasionally Wednesday during peak Functions periods.

Mon-Fri: $28.87
Sat: $43.31
Sun: $50.52
Club Trading Times:
Monday to Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 12pm - 8pm
Friday: 12pm - 9pm
Saturday: 12pm - 9pm
Sunday: 12pm - 8pm
Main Responsibilities:
· Perform all opening and closing Club tasks.
· Ensuring all front-of-house and operational areas of the Club run seamlessly and are sufficiently staffed.
· Supervising and coordinating a small team within the Club.
· Finding solutions to customer issues and providing direction to staff as required.
· Monitoring compliance with all legislative requirements and Club policies.
· Maintaining high customer service standards at an optimum level.
· Balancing and reconciling safes.
· Conducting stocktakes and ordering stock from suppliers when required.
· Locking and securing the Club premises when required.
· Support all areas of the Club including Bistro, Functions, Bar, gaming, KENO during busy periods of trade.
The ideal candidate will possess:
· One year supervisory experience in clubs, pubs or hotels is essential
· Work experience in Bar, Keno, and Poker Machines.
· Available to work 38 hours per week from Thursday to Sunday (Occassional Wednesday pending Club Trading) is essential
· The initiative and drive to coordinate the team unsupervised.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· The ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
· A current RSA & RCG competency card (essential).
· A strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
