ABOUT YOU
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine interest in gaming. The ideal candidate will have:
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to customer care.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic knowledge of gaming machines or a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- A responsible and ethical approach, particularly when dealing with financial transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings/nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Competent and trustworthy cash-handling skills.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (essential)
- Basic Gaming Certificate (essential)
- Availability for night shifts and weekends (essential)
- Responsible Person Badge/Experience (preferred)
- TAB and Keno experience (preferred)
We are looking for a customer service superstar to join the gaming team! The job needs someone with a can-do attitude, exceptional service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The role requires a reliable person available for evenings, night shifts, and weekends.
- General waiting and service duties of food and beverages such as coffee, snacks, and bartending
- Professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Welcoming and engaging with customers, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Assisting with gaming machine operations, answering phones, and checking accommodation guests in and out.
- Providing excellent customer service by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously.
- Monitoring gaming areas to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Assisting with cash handling, machine payouts, and general administration tasks.
- Promoting responsible gambling practices and offering support if required.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the gaming lounge.
- Ensure a good understanding of all food and beverage offerings throughout the venue, including being well versed in all menus available, food service systems, and till operations
- Follow Safe Work Procedures at all times
- Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Any other duties directed by Management
- Have a current copy of your resume ready to upload
- Australian residents or unrestricted visa holders only
- Must currently live in or near Whyalla with a license and vehicle
- Immediate start available
