Your new role
Do you have horticulture, arboriculture or gardening experience and love working in the great outdoors?
Council is seeking passionate Gardeners to join our Parks and Cemeteries teams on a casual basis.
With your safety focused approach you will be experienced in safe work practices, following WH&S procedures and policies. You have good attention to detail and use care when operating and maintaining plant and machinery.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- C Class driver licence and White Card (Mandatory).
- Ability to safely operate mowers, brush cutters, chain saws and blowers.
- A motivated, proactive, self-starter with a passion to deliver quality horticulture works.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Someone who enjoys and is capable of physical and outdoor work.
