About your opportunity:
Fixed term temporary part-time, up to 31/12/2025 with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months, multiple positions available.
The purpose of the General Practitioner: Outpatients position is to improve the integration between the hospital and primary health care by providing services within an outpatient setting as part of a sub-specialty clinical team.
This role may also be requested to provide input into the planning, development and quality improvement of planned care outpatient services at the local level: ensuring care is integrated across the patient journey and people receive access to the right level of care in the right place at the right time.

What's on offer:

• Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $496,915 p.a. comprising:
• Salary range of $87.25 to $127.77 p.h. (L13-L27)
• 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
• Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
• Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
• Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave

Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme:

Role Requirements:

• Qualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration and / or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
• All applicants must be awarded So CP by the THHS Credentialing and So CP committee. All appointments are subject to maintenance of So CP within the CSCF for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
