The role Reporting to the Manager, Governance Support and Advice; Governance, Assurance, and Information Management Branch, you will provide support to the Manager, Governance Support and Advice in the provision of administration and corporate governance activities whilst maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders. You will work as a member of the team that provides a central point of contact for all corporate governance related queries. You will also assist and support the planning and delivery of corporate governance improvement projects.
The successful person The successful applicant will ideally have a demonstrated understanding of Department of Health corporate governance policies and procedures. You will be able to manage competing demands to deliver timely and high-quality work. You will possess the ability to research and analyse complex issues and provide high quality and timely advice, have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build successful relationships. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in monitoring and reporting projects.

The Governance, Assurance, and Information Management Branch (GAIM), Corporate Services Division, is responsible for delivering strategic, proactive advice in respect of governance, compliance, and information management functions. Corporate governance functions involve a range of activities that enhance the department's governance i.e., its leadership, direction, control, and accountability. It provides policy frameworks, programs, and advice in relation to corporate governance arrangements, operational planning and performance, customer complaint management, general legislation compliance, and corporate delegations.
