Health Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Health Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and wellness, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals. As a Health Coach, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized health plans, provide ongoing support and motivation, and educate clients on healthy lifestyle choices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' health history, lifestyle, and goals.
- Develop ealth and wellness plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions virtually to guide clients through their health journey.
- Educate clients on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other wellness topics.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure they achieve their health goals.
- Offer support and motivation to help clients overcome obstacles and maintain healthy habits.
- Keep detailed records of clients' progress and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay updated on the latest health and wellness research and trends.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in community outreach and wellness events to promote health coaching services.
- Certification as a Health Coach from an accredited program.
- Background in nutrition, dietetics, exercise science, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of holistic health and wellness principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual coaching sessions and record-keeping.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Experience working as a health coach or in a related field.
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Flexible hours, although schedule must be set.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
