About the Role

• The student contributes to the delivery of Nutrition and Dietetics services, supporting effective patient care within the Metro South Hospital and Health Service, and works under the supervision and guidance of an allied health professional.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the interprofessional team using negotiation and conflict resolution as required. Use effective communication skills to contribute to consumer care and progress, including relevant clinical documentation.
• Perform a defined range of clinical assessment and treatment tasks as allocated by the Allied Health professional and work under their supervision.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the interprofessional team, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and service goals.
