POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Build Relationships with Parents and Communicate Regular Feedback on Student Progress.
• Schedule Lessons Directly with Parents/Students.
• Formulate Lesson Plans & Strategies Before Each Session.
• Consistently Deliver an Optimal Tutoring Experience.
• Maintain Up to Date Records of Student Progress on a Monthly Basis.
• Complete Administrative Tasks in a Timely Manner.
• Participate in Seasonal Programs (HSC and/or NAPLAN Workshops)

TUTOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be LOCATED in Sydney, Australia.
• Must Have a Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Be Willing to Obtain One.
• Must Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or Be Willing to Obtain One.
• Must Have Completed Year 12 with an ATAR Above 85 or Band 6 in Designated Tutoring Subject. (Exceptions Made for Qualified Teachers, University Graduates & Professionals)
• Must be Willing to Travel (if needed) to Student Homes or Public Learning Spaces.
• Must be Highly Reliable with Excellent Organisation and Efficient Time Management.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL (NOT REQUIRED) (PREFERRED):

• Have Some Tutoring Experience, Ideally Over 1 year.
• Have a sound understanding of the HSC syllabus in NSW.
• Demonstrates Effective Communication, Leadership & Interpersonal Skills.
• Enjoy Working With Children.
• Be Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic.
