• Possess 10 years’ experience in senior safety roles – ideally in a civil construction environment.
• Have an Advanced Diploma OHS, desired along with relevant additional qualifications.
• Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
• Coordinate site based occupational health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of people, the integrity of equipment, and the safe handling of materials.
• Ensure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied with.
• Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections.
