We are a small, growing business looking to hire an experienced counsellor for 1 day a week/fortnight (to be negotiated).
Must have a minimum 1-2 years experience specifically working with individuals particularly individuals with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and individuals who have suffered emotional abuse.
The role is initially a casual role for 3 months (mid Nov - mid Feb) to cover the busy Christmas period, possibility to extend after that.
It would suit someone who already has another role counselling, and is looking to add an additional day a week for some extra experience and income.
Must be trained in CBT, ACT, Solution-Focussed Therapy and/or DBT. Additional training or expertise will be highly regarded.
Must also have the following:
- ACA or PACFA registration
- private indemnity and public liability insurance
- experience with couples therapy
