You will:

• contribute to implementing and delivering innovative and contemporary nursing programs that contribute to ensuring successful graduate outcomes;
• develop your research portfolio to complement the School’s research agenda addressing contemporary health priorities; and
• develop and maintain key health partnerships to support and grow our work integrated learning footprint.

About you
As a passionate educator your commitment will shine through your exceptional teaching, creating a vibrant and inclusive learning space for students to thrive. You will make a difference contributing to and supporting students to become successful and job ready Nursing graduates. You possess strong subject matter expertise, pedagogical expertise, excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and learning, a student-centered approach and a commitment to innovative and engaging teaching methods.
You will possess:

• Completion or near-completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing.
• Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Effectiveness as a teacher, which is evidenced by:
• demonstration of learning and teaching practice that enhances student satisfaction and fosters student success.
• the capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula that success of which is based on student feedback on teaching using valid instrument/s, peer review.
• Evidence of research experience, including for example, refereed publications; participation in research teams; co-supervision of candidates for honours and higher degrees by research.
