Live-In Motel Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries and complaints, and providing local information and recommendations.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise motel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and security. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Monitor and report on the motel’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure the motel is well-maintained and clean. Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and improvements.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests. Manage online presence and reputation, including responding to reviews and updating listings on booking platforms.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Order and manage stock as needed.
- Proven experience in motel or hotel management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to live on-site and be available for emergencies.
- Handyman Skills: Basic handyman skills are highly desirable for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Eligibility: This position is open only to candidates currently residing in Australia.

Pay: $55,205.61 – $75,000.00 per year
