About the Role
Teys Australia Food Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our afternoon team in Morningside, Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our facility plant and equipment in line with production requirements.
Reporting to our Facility Asset Manager, this position will focus on ensuring equipment efficiency by preventing mechanical issues and breakdowns, as well as suggesting upgrades, replacements, and necessary repairs. Additionally, this role will actively promote and cooperate with our health and safety systems, contributing to our safety culture.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, and finishing between 9:00pm and 10:00pm.

About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Relevant trade certificate (i.e. Electrical/ Mechanical)
- Experience in a maintenance/repairs in a fast-paced modern manufacturing environment
- Understanding of technical prints and documents
- Problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using maintenance management and maintenance planning systems (CMMS)
- At least five (5) years relevant experience in a food manufacturing facility
- Restricted electrical licence
- Continuous improvement experience
- Working Safely at Heights qualifications
- Low Voltage Rescue qualifications
