What does the job look like?
Linfox’s Resource and Industrial business unit are seeking a reliable and experienced MC Fuel Tanker driver to be based at Silverwater, NSW. Using our modern Volvo fleet, you will be required to safely deliver fuel to our customers within metro Sydney and regional NSW. Offering a permanent full-time opportunity on a 13-shift roster pattern, rotating between an early morning shift and afternoon shift. This role is eligible for a $3000 sign on bonus made up of $1500 paid at commencement of employment and $1500 paid after 6 months continuous employment in the role with the company*. Key areas:
- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times
- Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

- Current and valid MC Licence with relevant Fuel Tanker experience.
- A current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence essential
- Current terminal inductions are highly regarded
- Commitment to manage fatigue and an understanding of shift work
- Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures
- Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
- Eligibility based on competency and experience assessed in the recruitment process.
