What does the job look like?
Join our Retail team as a PM Transport Allocator based in Eastern Creek, NSW, where you'll play a key role in overseeing transport operations for one of Australia’s largest supermarket chains. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations. You’ll work 12-hour shifts from 4 PM to 4 AM on a 3-2-2-3 rotating roster. Apply now to be part of a team driving success in a dynamic environment!
Key areas:
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
- Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
Are you the one?
We're seeking seasoned transport professionals with experience in scheduling/allocation or relevant operations, offering training and support for the ideal candidate. You can demonstrate:
- Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocating is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney metro area
- Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
