Adelaide Truck Mechanic is looking for an experienced Mechanic to start immediately.

As a result, we are on the lookout for talented individuals with experience in the vehicle repair industry.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Inspects and repairs mechanical and electrical faults in all vehicles on a regular basis

• Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes, lubrication, steering mechanisms

• Interprets computer diagnostic test results accurately

• Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans to achieve roadworthies

• Train and mentor trainees and apprentices

• Collaborate with other mechanics in dismantling and reassembly of engines and parts.

• Submission of reports and plans for approval to customers

• Advice on repair options and costs to customers

• Test drives to ensure the vehicle runs correctly and ensure vehicle compliance with pollution regulations

• Safe use of electricity, machinery, and hand tools

• Compliance with all rules and standards of the motor vehicle repair shop

• Adherence to health and safety regulations

YOU SHOULD DEMONSTRATE:

• Previous experience as a Mechanic

• Appropriate trade certification (cert iii) in relevant automotive field

• A background in vehicle maintenance

• Be a quick thinker

• Enjoy problem solving and the discovery of solutions to challenges

• Good time management, organisation, and collaboration capability

• Have a high degree of integrity

• Understanding health and safety regulations

• An ability to build rapport with clients

• Strong customer service skills

• An ability to mentor and coach
