Job Description
We are looking for a full-time qualified Motor- Automotive Mechanic at our Singhs Tyre And Auto Centre Pakenham site (Repco Authorised Service Station)with at least four years prior experience. You will be required to undertake the following duties.

• Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models).
• Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution
• Mechanical repairs include periodic servicing, brake repair, clutches, and timing belt repair/replacement on different makes and models.
• Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues.
• Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.
• Change engine and transmission oils.
• Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.
• Roadworthy Tester licence perferable.
• Adhere to and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, and perform general housekeeping and workshop maintenance.
• Train other workshop staff.

Skills and Qualifications

• Australian Qualifications
• Certificate III + 3 Years on the Job Training
• Certificate IV or 4 Years Experience in the occupation
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• AC Handling License is regarded but not essential
• Great attention to detail
• European experience is an asset & will be highly regarded but not essential.
