As a National Business Manager, you will drive revenue and portfolio growth within a large grocery account, effectively managing relationships, brand equity, as well as leading a team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in January 2025.
ABOUT THE JOB

You will be responsible for managing key categories within a large Grocery account, as well as leading a team.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts
Lead allocated team in the pursuit of key objectives, providing direction, coaching, inspiration and support as required.
Key contributor in building a joint business plan and input to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities.
Build, accurate forecasts and achieve sales targets including: revenue, profit and market share.
Direct responsibility for a large customer investment plan. Responsible for the planning, management implementation and co-creation of optimisation strategies.
Prepare and lead account negotiations.
Develop activation plans to implement the division, channel & customer strategy, ensuring execution and tracking consumption rates weekly.
Build deep customer intelligence and strong networks with key stakeholders.
Effective cross-functional stakeholder management internally (Supply, Demand, Category, Finance, Marketing).

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Sales Performance: Drive sales performance by achieving business KPI’s, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to optimise sales effectiveness.
Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the sales team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans aligned with company objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including national accounts, internal teams, and external partners, to drive collaboration and achieve mutual business objectives.

ABOUT YOU:

You will be an experienced Senior National Account Manager or National Business Manager in the beauty category or the FMCG industry.
You will have the ability to manage and deliver against key business outcomes in competitive categories that requires agility and a growth mindset.
You will have outstanding financial acumen, control and demonstrated ability to drive positive financial outcomes
You will have great influencing and negotiation skills.
You will have a clear passion for people leadership and development
