About the role
The purpose of this role is to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within The Prince Charles Hospital.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
• Provide leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
• Integrate the principles of contemporary education into nursing practice.
• Integrate nursing and health care knowledge, skills and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
• Facilitate the delivery of cost effective quality consumer/person focused care through the development, implementation and maintenance of education and professional development programs and activities for nursing staff.
