ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on a day and night continuous shift roster, at our Boddington Bauxite Mine (Fixed Plant Operations) reporting to the Fixed Plant Production Supervisor.

Key deliverables for the role are:

• Safely execute maintenance work within the fixed plant as per SAP processes
• Perform shutdown duties encompassing clearance to work and isolations
• Assisting with control room operations as required
• Actively participate in fixed plant housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Management of confined space, hot works and the isolation of plant and equipment
• Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and procedures
• Demonstrates good leadership within the team • Understands and drives productivity without compromising safety
• Challenges inappropriate behaviour or standards with respect
• Assists with training and supervision as required Exposure to fixed plant maintenance with a minimum experience of 1 year

Qualifications for this position are:

• Exposure to fixed plant maintenance with a minimum experience of 1 year
• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter/ Boiler Maker and hold a current ‘C’ class driver’s license
