The role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual to join our team at Dongara as a Mechanical Operator Maintainer. This full-time position forms part of a continuous shift roster with 2 nights, 2 days and 4 days off.

Responsibilities

Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
Mechanical maintainer duties within a site-based environment
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Focus on continuous improvement ideas.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.

What you will need to succeed

Trade qualification as a mechanical fitter, mobile plant fitter or boilermaker/welder
Experience as a fitter in a heavy industry setting delivering and managing maintenance activities
Demonstrated experience in managing and mitigating workplace risks
Experience in fixed plant operations (beneficial but not critical)
