NEED A PAINTER BRISBANE Pty Ltd
We are currently seeking an experienced painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to attend to various tasks relating to surface preparation, painting and maintenance.
- FT on ABN 38 hours per week - with the possibility of on books
- Majority of work in Brisbane North, Moreton Bay Area
- Have a drivers licence and their own reliable vehicle.
- Be able to perform tasks on their own and/or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills
- Own Tools
- Have a current Qld White Card
- PPE
- Clean and prepare surfaces to be painted prior to painting.
- Paint interior and exterior walls and ceilings of buildings with brush roller or spray gun, as required; may varnish, stain, shellac, or otherwise finish desks, doors, cabinets, mouldings, and floors.
- Trims windows and doors; caulks cracks and glazes windows.
- Mix paints, varnishes, shellacs, and enamels; cleans and stores brushes.
- Perform incidental duties such as erecting and moving scaffolds, washing walls, and cleaning up after a job.
- Perform other related work as required.
- Work with a 2nd year apprentice
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift 5 days a week - flexible
- 6:30am to 2:30pm
- Driver Licence and own vehicle (Required)
- White Card (Required)
- EWP Ticket (Preferred)
- Certificate III in Painting & Decorating (preferred)
- Australia (Required)
