As a qualified Panel beater, you will bring your experience and a “can do” attitude along with a high level of attention to detail. To be considered for this role you must possess the following attributes:
- Be a fully qualified Panel Beater with at least 3 years’ experience in collision repair.
- Superior work ethic
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- A friendly and approachable personality
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Removing damaged panels and parts and removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
- Removing dents by using hand tools
- Perform straightening on damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
- Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
- Filling depressions with filling, plastic filler, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces
- Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
- Fitting and repairing panels on vehicles with refitting body hardware
