About the role:
As a Recruitment & Panel Manager, you will:
- Manage a professional Key Assets Recruitment and Panel service and supervise Recruitment and Panel staff.
- Provide professional advice as required relating to the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, the Families SA Standards, the Program Requirements for Out of Home Care and the Key Assets ‘Assessing and Approving Foster Carers’ policy.
- Execute the recruitment and assessment phase of the carer selection process in line with regulations, Key Assets’ policies and procedures and best practice guidance and deliver this to an agreed quality and time frame.
- Contribute to and learn from the best practice and continue to develop the efficient customer focused experience of the operation of the carer recruitment process. This will include providing feedback to and receiving comments from other stakeholders in the carer marketing, recruitment, assessment, panel, approval, and induction process.
- Liaise with the Director/ Assistant Director to ensure that the Key Assets’ recruitment strategy meets and informs the corporate requirements at local and national levels.
This position is a full-time, fixed term opportunity for 6 months.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll come with:
- Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or other relevant recognised Qualifications.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation arising from the various Child Protection Legislation and Government initiatives and Agendas across South Australia.
- At least 2+ years' experience working in family placement and/or children's services as a team leader, and experience with staff supervision.
- Ability to communicate simply and effectively, both verbal and written, with a diverse staff group at all levels, recognising potential language barriers and cultural differences.
