Lab3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & Dev Ops, Data, Io T & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security, and Network services.

Looking for a Principal Consultant with deep experience in Azure Cloud & Dev Ops and VMware be part of our professional services team. You must be based in Australia, ideally in Canberra and have some level of federal security clearance (ideally NV1) or the ability to obtain such clearance (Australian citizens only).

The role:

Leader technical client engagements in the Azure Cloud & Dev Ops and AVS space, including high level design, consultation, maturity assessments and delivery
Work effectively with business & technical stakeholders, external and internal, to identify & implement best practice configurations of platforms.
Communicate and present discoveries to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders (including C-Suite & Directors) as required.
Work on enterprise VMware and VMWare migration and Azure VMWare solutions
Lead client conversations around architecture design and strategy. Provide deep reviews and deliverables whilst engaging as a SME
Run workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.
Partner with Project Leaders to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery as required
Support our pre-sales teams in creating comprehensive documentation of requirements, and help setup proof-of-concept prototypes.

The ideal candidate:

Significant design and & delivery experience of Azure Cloud & Dev Ops and AVS solutions.
Ability to understand business requirements and design effective solutions using deep Azure Dev Ops & VMware skills
Extensive enterprise VMWare and VMWare migration knowledge
Strong AVS skills, both design and hands-on.
Intimate knowledge of VCF including platform design, networking and NSX
A good understanding of Azure ELZ design is ideal.
AVS skills, both design and hands-on, are highly desirable
Experience using the likes of Bash Scripting, Python, Terraform, Power Shell, ARM, Ansible, Go, Chef
Expertise in Azure Cloud: Iaa S/Paa S/Saa S, infrastructure Automation - Azure Dev Ops, CICD, Configuration management
You should be ready for a start in January 2025
Should have AGSVA security clearance, ideally at least NV1
Based in Australia, ideally in Canberra but we are open to other locations
