As a result, we are looking for experienced Casual Process Workers to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. They will manage day-to-day tasks and ensure the smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Casual Process Workers Monday to Thursday - guaranteed 4 hours per shift each day ongoing long-term work

Shift times:
Morning Shift Kitchen Assembly / Packing: start time 5am (Monday to Thursday)
Day Shift Assembly: start time 7am (Monday to Thursday)
Mid Morning Shift Picking / Packing: start time 10am (Monday to Thursday)
Afternoon Picking / Packing: start time 1pm (Monday to Thursday)
Night Shift Packing: start time 11pm (Monday to Thursday)

Weekly roster - work every week, no more 'on call' arrangements
Minimum 4-hour shift but must be available to work up to 10 hours per day
Banyo location with secure parking & excellent facilities

What does our PRODUCTION TEAM do?

Packing - fast-paced, physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment, lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs
Assembly - involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts; running of food to different areas; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs
Food Preparation – involves cutting meat, vegetables and salad ingredients to specification for processing, measuring, mixing and preparing food for various cooking processes

To be successful in this role, you will:
Have experience picking, cleaning and preparing food
Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work
The ability to work within strict quality standards guidelines
Have a great eye for detail
Be an excellent team member with an energetic and flexible approach
Be reliable and punctual
Be physically fit and capable of working in a cold environment

Successful applicants will be team players who take pride in producing outstanding products and have excellent hand eye co-ordination. Some heavy lifting and work in a cold environment will be required. Whilst not essential previous experience in a FMCG environment working as a process worker would be advantageous.
