Our client, a leading player in the mining industry, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their dynamic team on a FIFO basis. The ideal
candidate will have hands-on experience with Gekko Gravity Separation systems, as well as expertise in mineral processing, specifically within gold or similar mining environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize gravity separation processes using Gekko Systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot process plant performance to ensure maximum recovery and throughput.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and improve process efficiencies.
- Provide technical support and training to junior team members on Gekko systems.
- Prepare reports on plant performance and process improvements.
- Degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mineral processing with a focus on gravity separation techniques.
- Proven experience with Gekko Gravity Separation systems is essential.
- Strong understanding of gold extraction processes and metallurgical testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and process simulation software.
