Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue & white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.

We currently have an opportunity for an exceptional HSE Advisor to join our one of our trusted, Tier 1 clients!

Reporting to the HSE Manager you will be responsible for providing support to corporate and project teams in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance and support the development of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide the ongoing maintenance and improvement of health & safety related matters
Ensure full and accurate health and safety records are being maintained as per compliance requirements
Support line management in their accountability for legislative obligations and WHS Management System compliance requirements.
Facilitate and/or participate in work area incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes.
Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site

About You

Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
White Card
5 years' minimum experience in a mining based HSE Advisor role
Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
HSE Production and/or Processing experience highly beneficial
Previous experience within HSE databases
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM, Taproot)
