At Transgrid, we play crucial role in connecting electricity generators to the distribution network that power homes and businesses - we operate over 13,000km of high voltage transmission wires and 110 substations in NSW and the ACT.

The Opportunity

To meet the demand for reliable, clean energy we are building the transmission infrastructure via Snowy 2.0 Transmission Connection Project (STCP) that will enable Snowy 2.0 to deliver clean electricity to Australian consumers. The STCP will connect the Snowy 2.0 scheme into the main electricity transmission spine for the National Electricity Market (NEM). This connection means that the renewable energy (up to 2,200 megawatts) generated and stored, can be distributed within minutes when it is most needed.
As the Project Coordinator, you’ll provide support to the Project Director, and the Delivery wider team with the coordination of travel, action and resources management, compilation of various reporting obligations, as well and calendar and meeting management
We’re looking for an experienced Project Coordinator who can work autonomously yet collaboratively and manage multiple priorities at once.

About you

• Relevant qualifications or equivalent and/or relevant knowledge and competence gained through
• experience
• A current Australian driver’s licence.
• Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate information systems i.e. Ellipse, MS Project
• Sound knowledge of and proven experience in PC software i.e. Windows, Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Share Point
• Ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
• Able to work in a team environment effectively
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good persuasion skills

Desirable

• Project Coordinator experience gained in a similar industry/environment (Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure etc.)
