Since 1986, our business Mirage Doors manufacturers quality steel and aluminium roller shutters and counterweight doors.

As we enter a period of significant growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Engineer who has a willingness to learn on the job.

The Position

Based in Bangholme, Vic the primary responsibilities for this role as Principal Project Specialist – Dock Solutions, High Performance and Sectional Doors is to provide project and technical support to the application of dock solution products, sectional and high performance doors and technical advice to the Sales team, customers, installation contractors, and service division.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to provide accurate technical advice to Internal and External Customers

in relation to the dock solutions, sectional and high performance door products.

Implement process improvements to achieve higher safety, productivity, quality,

easier installation, and lower cost.

Development of product and process documentation for the dock solution, high speed and sectional door products to support the sales team, Production requirements,
Procurement requirements, and service of these products.

Support development of safety documentation relating to site installations, including SWMS, as required

Supporting quality control inspections carried at completion of installations

Development of operational systems to improve accuracy of information and efficiency

of processing.

To be the technical contact and coordinator for the Dock solution, high speed and sectional door products for Australia.

Provide training to the Sales team and Mirage Team on the current and new product

developments for dock solutions, high speed and sectional doors.

Active involvement in the OHS committee as required

Other duties as directed by the General Manager or his delegates

Assist with maintaining the overall quality standards for the works performed by the

Company and in accordance with customer requirements.

Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven.

Knowledge of company products as they relate to the customers requirements
Ability to assess information and make informed decisions
Time management and working to deadlines
Well developed organisational skills and ability to coordinate paperwork / reporting requirements
Assertive with a positive attitude
Friendly, approachable and professional phone manner
