Project Manager - Custom Solutions

Simply Seated is an event design and hire company located in Sydney, Brisbame and Melbourne. We offer bespoke design solutions and premium furniture hire and custom builds for a variety of private, corporate and public events
About the Role
Due to growth in our business we are currently seeking an experienced Project/Account Manager for our Custom Solutions department to join our Sydney based team. The primary focus of this role is to deliver fitout, construction, cabinetry build and projects across the businesses scope with focus on client relationship and project management.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Manage all projects in a professional manner that meets or exceeds our client’s requirements and expectations.
- Manage budgeted workload contributing to the overall team budget for work managed per financial year.
- Act as a conduit of information between all clients and Simply Seated Operations team.
- Obtain client brief and effectively detail scope and specifications to Simply Seated design, events and operations teams for quoting and design purposes.
- Provide quotes which accurately respond to client needs whilst maximising the use of Simple Seated products throughout the scope of work.
- Oversee all project compliance requirements and communications (Engineering, DDA, etc) and ensure the timely delivery of these.
- Preparing internal and external project reports to maintain stakeholder expectations and management.
- Manage and maintain existing client relationships via SNM portal.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by adhering to Simply Seated processes, timelines and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering Event and/or Commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of contract management, project management and safety principals.
- Construction knowledge, including specific building strategies, timeframes and costs, risks, and statutory requirements.
- Understanding of building legislation and standards of performance, quality, costs and safety.
- Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across demanding timelines and schedules to meet client deadlines.
- Have a positive and flexible attitude towards all aspects of the job and be a team player.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with confidence to negotiate.
Pay: $88,523.92 – $120,327.08 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Shift work
- MS Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
