The Role

• Provide Consultant Psychiatrist level mental health assessment and management
• Working with a multidisciplinary team in IHMS sites to provide holistic mental health care
• Work with the Medical Officers to provide supervision, training and oversight of staff working with mental health patients
• Provide recommendations regarding mental health care
• Make recommendations and provide reports

Requirements

• Specialist Psychiatrist qualification in country-of-origin equivalent to Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a psychiatrist
• Preferably forensic experience
• Full working rights in Australia
