Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the clinic to deliver and maintain primary health care services to clients at Broadmeadows, VIC .

The Role

You will be passionate about providing the best level of health care at our Immigration Detention centre Alternate Place of Detention (APOD) clinic. Key responsibilities:

• Assessment and treatment of clients at a Team Leader Level
• Liaise as appropriate with all parties involved in the medical management of clients
• Provide clinical reports
• Demonstrate effective management of the nursing team
• Management of ordering and monitoring of stock within the medical facility
• Use Electronic Medical Record system

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Full working rights in Australia
• Significant health management experience gained from working in a large multi-faceted health business with broad clinical experience in primary health, mental health, emergency and public health.
• Previous Nursing experience in a detention/ correctional facility is highly desirable
• Basic Life Support (or willingness to get one)
• A degree or post graduate qualification in health administration, health management or Business is desirable
