We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our service team. As a Refrigeration Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems in various buildings, including grocery stores, warehouses, restaurants, and more. You will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose issues, implement repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial buildings
• Perform routine inspections on refrigeration units, identifying potential problems and providing timely solutions
• Diagnose malfunctions and mechanical problems, utilizing technical knowledge to repair or replace defective parts
• Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems, including cleaning coils, lubricating parts, and replacing filters
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute the installation of new refrigeration systems
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed

Skills and Experience:

• MUST reside in and hold full working rights in Australia.
• Must hold Trade qualifications as a refrigeration mechanic, including a restricted electrical licence and a refrigerant handling licence.
• An up-to-date Driver’s licence.
• The ability to work effectively unsupervised, as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, as well as customer service skills.
• Great efficiency and organisational skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $84,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year
