About Baptist Care Dorothy Henderson Lodge, Macquarie Park

Designed with a people-first approach, Dorothy Henderson Lodge is an inviting facility conveniently located on the Macquarie Park campus and is home to a thriving community that supports you to live the life you want.

The Lodge provides 66 single rooms for residents, and 14 secure rooms for those who need higher level of dementia support. All of our rooms have en-suites, large built-in wardrobes, and easy access to communal areas.
Enjoy the convenience of an on-site hairdresser, podiatrist, physiotherapist, social outings, a well-resourced library, church services and many other benefits. Blessed with spacious sitting areas and lush, well-kept gardens, you will find plenty of space to sit back and put your feet up. Or, if you prefer to get out and about for the day, we have a full calendar of activities for you to get involved with – it’s entirely up to you.

About the role
Dorothy Henderson Lodge is seeking a Registered Nurse for a variety of shifts. You will deliver high quality, responsive and individualised care. You’ll plan, organise and implement care in accordance with individual resident care plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care. An experienced leader, you will provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to our care staff.
Duties may include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating each resident's care needs
• Carry out wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
• Administer medication and wound dressings

We offer a highly competitive rate of pay, based on your years of experience, ranging from $42.85 -$53.74 per hour, plus super, shift loading and salary packaging

Skills and Experience

• You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
