We are a public company operating a non-profit, public benevolent organisation that owns and operates a large, well established residential aged care.. Our facility is located in Cabramatta and consists of 168 Consumer beds and 21 independent living units.
We cater to the special needs of a range of high care residents including persons living with Dementia.
We seek an RN to support the nursing care to our residents.
Role:
To ensure direct care of residents is met, through managing assessment and care planning process.
To provide support, direction and education to other care staff.
To support policy development.
To provide continuous improvement process for clinical systems.
Requirements:
Registration with AHPRA as an RN Division 1.
Previous Aged Care experience (at least 1-2 years).
Ability to lead the care staff.
Strong understanding of ACFI and Accreditation.
A commitment to the provision of quality aged care.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be permanent resident/citizen and be able to work within a rotating roster 7 days per week.
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.

Expected hours: 16.00 – 30.00 per week
