About the Role:
Join our team at the Lower Mid North Coast Opiate Dependence Service, where you will deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. Working collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to achieving identified goals and outcomes. This role offers access to specialized education in drug and alcohol care.
Where You'll Be Working:
Located at the Cottage on the serene Manning River, near vibrant coastal towns like Tuncurry and Forster, this position is based at Manning Base Hospital Campus. About You:
We are seeking a calm, approachable, and respectful Registered Nurse who embodies ethical and professional integrity. Your ability to thrive in a team environment is essential, alongside a good-natured demeanor. You will be supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator, Senior Staff, Clinical Nurse Consultant, and a cohesive multidisciplinary team dedicated to your success and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in the Opiate Dependence Service.
- Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve care goals.
- Maintain professional and ethical boundaries at all times.
- Engage in continuous learning and development in drug and alcohol care.
