About Ingenia Rental
At Ingenia Rental, we own and operate a portfolio of all-age rental communities along the Eastern seaboard that are home to over 1,500 residents and their families. Ingenia Rental is driven by fostering a community of belonging, respect and safety.
About the Role
We are seeking a Relief Community Manager to provide operational support across our all-age Rental Communities in Southeast Queensland.
This is a multi-site opportunity that will be based in the Greater Brisbane Region and will work across our 6 Communities in Brisbane, Logan & Bayside. The Relief Community Manager is responsible for relieving our Community Managers in times of absence, including the day-to-day management of the Community, asset enhancement, financial and people management, resident satisfaction, health, safety & risk compliance, along with special projects in the portfolio. This is a full time, permanent position.
This role will require you to have your own vehicle when travelling across sites. A car allowance is provided.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure our Communities are always providing quality service to residents in line with industry best practice and/or as directed by management
Ensure the Communities are presented to a high standard
Manage staff, residents and visitors who attend the Communities
Conduct and report on site audits to ensure the appropriate standards are being maintained
Provide support to residents by ensuring their health and wellbeing is a key focus
Actively strive to increase occupancy in line with budgets
Engage key community contacts to promote the Community and drive business outcomes
Provide support to the Area Manager for the Region, including taking the lead in special projects and standardisation across the portfolio
Assist in refurbishment projects across the portfolio

About You

A passion for customer service
Current "C" class drivers’ licence
Excellent administrative skills, financial controls and practices
Ability to identify problem areas and to use initiative and effective communication skills to resolve these issues
Ability to respond well to emergency situations
Confident and proficient at reasoning with people
Ability to work without supervision and problem solve
Experience with the Qld Residential Tenancies Act preferable
Ability to lead and manage a team
