About the Role

We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Officer for a max term full-time basis until July 2025 to join our team in Redfern, Sydney. You will be responsible for reconciling all TSA Bank accounts and monthly reconciliation for Balance Sheet Cash and Income accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate processing of bank accounts including the Finance Shared Services (FSS) transfers and Direct Debit Files.
Ensuring unclaimed monies for unpresented cheques are managed as per company policy.
Responsible for accurate and timely processing of bank allocations, directly matching transactions against correct General ledger account or Invoice.
Reconcile Corporate Online payments and direct debits to bank statement.
Managing auto matching rules and manually match and reconcile bank and clearing accounts as assigned.

About You

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in similar roles. It will be highly regarded the ability to determine business requirements and define solutions to address business, process, information and systems challenges, improvements, or changes. Formal accounting qualifications I preferred however not mandatory. To be successful, you will also have:

Knowledge of Financial Accounting Systems.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Demonstrated strong reconciliation experience and continuous improvement mindset.
Able to demonstrate efficiencies across the business through process optimization and technology automation and proven ability to facilitate change in automation of manual entries.
Experience in Map risk and obligations to the respective business processes and controls.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
